Crafted with love and skill, each bride stitched a shawl, adorned with the Khamak motif in colors of blue and green linen fabric, to honor her beloved on their engagement and wedding day. Passed down through generations, these shawls embody Hazaras' cultural heritage and symbolize resilience for the new generation.

Abdul Reqaz's antique & vintage wedding shawl was designed & embroidered in Jaghori between 1993-1995, in Afghanistan.
